"Star Wars Tactics Game Unveiled at 2025 Celebration"
EA's eagerly anticipated Star Wars turn-based tactics game is set to be unveiled at Star Wars Celebration 2025. This untitled strategy game, announced back in early 2022, is being developed by Bit Reactor, a studio formed by veterans from Firaxis Games, renowned for their work on the XCOM series. Bit Reactor has been collaborating closely with Star Wars Jedi developer Respawn Entertainment, and they're now ready to showcase their latest project.
Mark your calendars for April 19, when the game will be introduced through a live panel featuring the lead development team from Bit Reactor, alongside Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games. This event is listed on the official Star Wars Celebration 2025 schedule.

Details about the game remain scarce, including the specific Star Wars era it will be set in and the precise mechanics of its gameplay. However, considering it's crafted by former XCOM developers, fans can expect a strategic experience infused with Star Wars flair.
Respawn Entertainment, in addition to this project, is also developing the third installment in the Star Wars Jedi series, although it's not expected to appear at this year's Star Wars Celebration. Previously, Respawn was working on another Star Wars game, an untitled first-person shooter speculated to feature a Mandalorian protagonist, but it was canceled due to a significant EA reorganization that resulted in the loss of around 670 jobs. Additionally, Respawn recently canceled a multiplayer first-person shooter project and laid off an unspecified number of employees involved.
At Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm will also provide a sneak peek at the upcoming movie, The Mandalorian & Grogu, slated for release in May 2026, and a first look at Star Wars: Visions Volume 3.
