New Shining Revelry Expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket Coming Soon

My interest in Pokemon TCG Pocket tends to ebb and flow. I dive in deep with each new set release, playing consistently to earn Emblems by securing around 40 wins. Once that goal is met, my engagement shifts to a daily routine of logging in, opening packs, and enjoying a casual Wonder Pick before moving on. This cycle will undoubtedly reignite with the arrival of the latest expansion, Shining Revelry, set to launch on March 27th.

Shining Revelry will add 110 fresh cards to the TCG Pocket universe, featuring an array of new Ex Pokemon, Trainers, and those stunning art cards that fans adore. The highlight, as hinted by the expansion's name, is the introduction of Shiny Pokemon. For those new to the concept, Shiny Pokemon are unique color variations of beloved creatures. Imagine a yellow Lucario instead of blue, or a Pachirisu with a striking pink stripe.

The trailer, which you can view below, offers a tantalizing glimpse of what's to come. A standout is the new Shiny Charizard Ex, boasting 180 HP and a powerful move, Steam Artillery, that inflicts 150 damage. The catch is its hefty energy cost of five, but the move Stoke lets you attach three Fire Energy in one go, easing the setup.

Another notable addition is Lucario Ex. While it previously played a supporting role in the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, this iteration is ready for frontline combat. With 150 HP and the ability to deal 100 damage using Aura Sphere for three Fighting Energy, it also hits an opponent's Benched Pokemon for 30, making it a versatile choice.

The trailer also teases other exciting cards like Shiny Wiglett, Pachirisu, and Varoom, all of which are visually stunning. Additionally, there's a gorgeous Tatsugiri art rare that I'm eager to add to my digital collection.
