Marvel Rivals Shero of Wakanda Achievement Guide

The Shero of Wakanda achievement is a delightful nod to the rich lore of Wakanda in *Marvel Rivals*. To unlock this achievement, follow these steps:

  1. Load into a match on the Birnin T’challa map.
  2. Navigate to the Warrior Falls region.
  3. Upon spawning, immediately turn around to locate the statue of Okoye at the back of the spawn room.
  4. Approach the statue and interact with it to trigger a dialogue.
  5. Listen to the dialogue, and voilà, you've unlocked the Shero of Wakanda achievement.

While the process is straightforward, you might need to play several matches to land on the Birnin T’challa map due to random map selection.

How to Get the Birnin T’challa Map

Unfortunately, *Marvel Rivals* does not allow players to vote for or choose specific maps or modes. This means you'll need to keep queuing for matches in Quick Play or Competitive mode until you're matched into a game on Birnin T’challa.

Even when you do get the Birnin T’challa map, there's no guarantee you'll spawn at Warrior Falls, as it's one of three possible starting regions. However, if Warrior Falls is one of the first two regions you encounter on the map, you're in luck.

Once you spawn at Warrior Falls, quickly turn around and head to the back of the room. There, you'll find the statue of Okoye. Interact with it at any point during the match, though it's best to do so at the start to ensure you don't miss your chance.

And that's all you need to know to earn the Shero of Wakanda achievement in *Marvel Rivals*. For more tips and detailed information on the game, including explanations of terms like Ace and SVP, make sure to check out The Escapist.
