"Saving Your Game in R.E.P.O.: A Guide"
Are you and your friends ready to dive into the cooperative horror game *R.E.P.O.*? This physics-based retrieval game lets up to six players work together to explore various maps, collect valuable items, and safely extract them. But before you jump into the action, it's crucial to understand how to save your progress in *R.E.P.O.* to ensure your efforts don't go to waste.
How to Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.
One of the most frustrating experiences in gaming is expecting to pick up where you left off, only to find your progress hasn't been saved. This issue can be particularly aggravating with new releases like *R.E.P.O.*, where autosave features and save mechanics might not be immediately clear. In *R.E.P.O.*, saving your game is straightforward but requires attention to detail.
The key to saving in *R.E.P.O.* is to complete the level you're currently on. The game does not offer a manual save option, so if you quit during a retrieval mission or die, which sends you to the Disposal Arena, your progress will be lost. You'll need to start that level over from the beginning. Furthermore, if you die in *R.E.P.O.*, your save file is deleted, emphasizing the importance of reaching the end of each level safely.
To save your game successfully, you must finish the level by delivering your valuables to the Extraction Point. After reaching this point, enter the truck or find your way back to it, and hold the message button above your head to signal the AI boss, the Taxman, that it's time to head to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop for necessary items and then use the same button to proceed to the next level.
Once you've left the Service Station and arrived at your next location, it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game. When you or the host (if another player created the original save file) restarts the game, you can jump back into *R.E.P.O.* and continue from where you left off. Remember, the host is responsible for exiting at the right time to ensure the game saves correctly, and once the host quits, all other players will be disconnected.
Now that you're equipped with the knowledge to save your game in *R.E.P.O.*, explore our other guides to enhance your gameplay and ensure successful missions with your team.
