S8UL to Represent India at Pokémon Unite WCS Finals

The esports world is buzzing with excitement as S8UL, a prominent team from India, has secured their spot to represent their country at the Pokémon Unite World Championship Series (WCS). This achievement comes on the heels of a challenging period for the team, who faced a disappointing early exit during the Pokémon Unite Asia Champions League (ACL). However, S8UL has bounced back impressively, earning their ticket to the WCS Finals set to take place in the USA this August.

The journey to the WCS was not without its hurdles. S8UL started the India Qualifiers on a rough note, losing their opening match and being relegated to the lower bracket. Despite this setback, the team showcased their resilience and skill, dominating opponents such as Team Dynamis, QML, and Revenant XSpark to clinch the top spot.

This isn't the first time S8UL has qualified for the WCS; they were also set to represent India in the 2024 event. Unfortunately, visa issues prevented their participation in Honolulu. With cross-border travel to the US still presenting challenges, the team remains hopeful that they will be able to compete without any hitches this time around at the WCS 2025 finals.

As the esports community gears up for the PMGO finals in PUBG Mobile later this week, the anticipation for Pokémon Unite's WCS is equally high. S8UL's qualification adds another layer of excitement to the upcoming event, promising thrilling competition on the world stage.
