Back in January, Bluepoch Games teased an exciting collaboration that has now come to fruition with more details on the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover. This thrilling event will feature none other than Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a playable character, bringing the iconic assassin into the time-traveling world of Reverse: 1999.

Collaborating with Ubisoft, this crossover event will spotlight two fan-favorite entries in the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. The initial teaser from January showcased Vertin navigating a rainy street, with the luminous Assassin’s Creed logo looming in the background, setting the stage for what's to come.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The full scope of the event has been unveiled, and it's set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond just introducing Ezio, the collaboration promises a wealth of additional content to look forward to.

The crossover is structured into two distinct phases, each offering unique Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and events. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the 15th-century Italian landscape, deciphering cryptic clues along the way.

Phase II shifts the scene to ancient Greece, immersing players in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will recognize familiar events as Vertin's crew gets entangled in historical adventures.

It’s a Special Crossover

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all global servers will be synchronized, ensuring that everyone can access the event content simultaneously.

Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon called The Storm. As entire eras vanish after these storms, Vertin, alongside her partner Sonetto, journeys through different time periods to rescue other arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
