Rauora is the new Rainbow Six Siege operator

Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rainbow Six Siege's newest addition: Rauora, an attack operator hailing from New Zealand. A key feature is her DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorways. While indestructible by bullets, explosives can breach it. The shield's activation speed varies depending on the shooter: one second for attackers, three seconds for defenders – a potentially game-changing difference when the defuser is planted.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. She can also equip either the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.

Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the next week, with a wider release on the live servers to follow.
