Rainbow Six Siege X, currently in its closed beta phase, is set to launch widely in June 2025 for both console and PC players. Ubisoft describes this update as the most significant content overhaul Rainbow Six Siege has ever seen. Among the exciting new features introduced in the closed beta is the Dual Front game mode, which supports intense 6-on-6 team battles.

Dual Front mode promises a larger and more chaotic experience than most existing game modes in Rainbow Six Siege. The maps in this mode are expansive, requiring teams to strategize their attack and defense areas meticulously as they complete objectives and clash with the enemy. The Siege X update will also revamp several existing maps, overhaul the user interface, enhance the technical presentation, and introduce a rebalanced online matchmaking system, all aimed at providing a more welcoming environment for new players.
