Pokemon Go will soon kick off Mega Gallade Raid Day in time for the new year

Get ready for some Pokémon Go action! Mega Gallade is making its raid debut, and a special Raid Day is planned for January 11th. There's a chance to snag a Shiny Gallade – if you're lucky!

This event boasts several bonuses, including increased Remote Raid Pass limits (from January 10th to 11th) and up to five extra free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs. Shiny Gallade encounter rates from Mega Raids are also boosted.

For an extra boost, a $5 Event Ticket offers eight additional Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, increased Rare Candy XL drop rates from Raid Battles, a 50% XP bonus, and double Stardust from Raid Battles.

A Mega Gallade Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box will also be available for purchase in the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99 (or local equivalent).
