Pokémon Go Unveils $100 Ticket for Enhanced Toilet Access
Pokémon Go has introduced an exciting new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event. This premium upgrade offers players exclusive in-game items and enhanced real-world facilities, including "upgraded restrooms." Go Fest, the game's annual summer extravaganza, is set to occur at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, as well as in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan. For those attending the Jersey City event, Niantic has unveiled this $100 Premier Access add-on, which promises a host of benefits to elevate your gaming experience.
Think of this as a Business Class option for Go Fest attendees. By opting for the Premier Access lounge, you'll enjoy amenities like "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While the specifics of these upgraded restrooms remain a mystery, they promise to be a step above the standard facilities.Another perk of the Premier Access upgrade is fast-track entry to the event's Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store. This means you can skip the lines and spend less time waiting, giving you more time to explore and catch Pokémon. Given the popularity of the merch store and the limited playtime available, this can be a significant advantage.

The star of the Premier Access upgrade is undoubtedly the wealth of in-game items it provides. You'll receive a bounty of resources, including 100 Premium Battle Passes, 100 Super Incubators, 20 Max Particle Packs, and much more. In fact, if you were to buy all these items separately, you'd be looking at a cost of around $300. Here’s the complete list of what you get:
- 100 Poké Balls
- 100 Great Balls
- 100 Ultra Balls
- 50 Silver Pinap Berries
- 100 Super Incubators
- 10 Lucky Eggs
- 10 Incense
- 10 Star Pieces
- 10 Lure Modules
- 10 Glacial Lure Modules
- 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
- 10 Mossy Lure Modules
- 10 Rainy Lure Modules
- 100 Premium Battle Passes
- 20 Max Particle Packs
- 5 Max Mushrooms
As a final touch, Premier Access ticket holders will also receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.
The reaction to this ticket offer has been mixed. Some players argue that the $100 price tag is unprecedented for Pokémon Go and comes at a time when the game is increasingly monetized. Others see the value in the substantial in-game items included and believe that players who have already invested in traveling to Jersey City and purchasing a Go Fest ticket might be willing to spend a bit more for these additional perks.
IGN has reached out to Niantic to inquire if this Premier Access offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.
Pokémon Go Fest 2025 will take place over the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. This year's event will spotlight the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader availability of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
