Pokémon GO Reveals May 2025 Plan with a Surprise!

May 2025 in Pokémon GO is shaping up to be an exciting month packed with events and special raid opportunities. The highlight for many fans is undoubtedly the return of the Lake Trio to 5-Star Raids across various regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be available in Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th. Players can look forward to encountering this Pokémon with the special move Nature’s Madness and the chance to find its Shiny form.

Following that, starting May 12th, the Lake Trio will make their grand return, varying by region. Trainers in the Asia-Pacific region will encounter Uxie, those in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or India will have a chance to battle Mesprit, and players in the Americas and Greenland will face Azelf.

After the Lake Trio's departure, Tapu Bulu will take over the Five-Star raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025, also featuring Nature’s Madness and a potential Shiny encounter.

For fans of Mega Raids, May 2025 offers a robust lineup. Mega Houndoom will be available from May 1st to May 12th, followed by Mega Gyarados from May 12th to May 25th, and finally, Mega Altaria will be up for grabs from May 25th to June 3rd.

The month kicks off with the "Growing Up" event from May 2nd to May 7th, complemented by a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. From May 10th to May 18th, players can participate in the Crown Clash event, with a special Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day on May 11th will feature a yet-to-be-revealed Pokémon. The Crown Clash: Taken Over event runs from May 14th to May 18th, followed by a Shadow Raid Day on May 17th.

The Final Strike: GO Battle Week is scheduled from May 21st to May 27th, with the May Community Day Classic happening on May 24th. The month wraps up with a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day on May 25th, 2025.
