Pikmin Bloom Celebrates 3.5 Years with Retro Theme

With its 3.5th anniversary on the horizon, Pikmin Bloom is gearing up to celebrate in a big way. This event will take players on a nostalgic journey back to the '80s and '90s, as your Pikmin will sport designs inspired by Nintendo's iconic gaming hardware from those eras, allowing you to reconnect with classic gaming memories.

Starting May 1st, players can participate in special event missions to unlock the Nintendo Game Consoles ’80-’95 Decor Pikmin. But the celebration doesn't stop there; it also pays homage to Nintendo's roots beyond video games.

You'll have the chance to collect Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin, which are themed after the original playing card decks that Nintendo produced during its early days as a physical toy manufacturer.

Push PlayWhile the new decor inspired by Nintendo's hardware might steal the spotlight, the nod to the company's pre-video game era adds a delightful touch of history. It's a fitting tribute, especially considering Pikmin's origins on the GameCube, though amusingly, the GameCube itself isn't included in this decor lineup.

Make sure to jump into the event from May 1st to May 31st. By completing the event missions, you can earn Game Button Cells, which will grow into the new decor Pikmin. Premium Event Pass holders have even more to look forward to, with additional perks during the 3.5th anniversary festivities.
