How to Solve All Password and Padlock Combinations in Lost Records: Bloom and Rage

Currently, Lost Records: Bloom and Rage features three lock-related puzzles within Tape 1. As Tape 2 is set to release in April 2025, this guide will be updated to include any new puzzles introduced in the subsequent tape.

If you miss solving a puzzle early on, such as the Corey and Dylan love lock in Tape 1, you can revisit it later using the game's Scene Selection menu. Additionally, the Collectible Mode allows you to gather missed items without impacting your story progression.

Corey and Dylan Lovelock in Scene 10 (Lights, Camera, Action!)

The first padlock puzzle appears in Scene 10 of Tape 1, titled 'Lights, Camera, Action!'. After completing the Forest Girls Memoir in the initial area, proceed through the park by navigating between two large boulders. You'll encounter a wire fence adorned with "love locks" belonging to young couples, including one from Corey and Dylan.

To unlock their lock as a playful act of revenge, you'll need a four-digit code. However, the clue to this code isn't available until Scene 24, near the end of Tape 1. In Scene 24, while searching for the Blue Spruce Bar Gate padlock solution, check Corey’s Bag on his bike in the parking lot. Inside, you'll find a Polaroid photo with a caption revealing Corey and Dylan’s anniversary date: August 27, 1994. This date translates to the padlock code 0827.

Use the Scene Selection Menu and Collectible Mode to return to Scene 10, interact with the lock, and enter 0827 to unlock it, earning the hidden ‘Heartbreak’ achievement/trophy.

Cabin Padlock in Scene 13 (Cabin in the Woods)

The second padlock puzzle is located in Scene 13 of Tape 1, titled 'Cabin in the Woods'. As the girls explore a mysterious cabin in the woods at night, Swann must solve the padlock on the front door to escape and continue the story.

Start by examining the Old Sheet hanging on a wooden beam behind you. It provides visual hints for the lock's four dials, with the first dial already solved. For the second symbol, head to the kitchen area and pull the rope handle to access the attic. Once inside, turn around to see a crescent moon symbol on the far wall.

For the third symbol, inspect the leftmost can on the stove, which is covered in spider webs. Flip it over to reveal a leaf symbol on the bottom. Finally, for the fourth symbol, examine the bear trap on the back wall. When it snaps shut, it reveals a star symbol etched on the wood behind it.

Return to the front door and input the symbols in the order: crescent moon, leaf, star. This will unlock the door, allowing Swann and the others to proceed with the story.

Blue Spruce Bar Gate Padlock in Scene 24 (Riot Grrrls)

The final padlock puzzle is found in Scene 24 of Tape 1, titled 'Riot Grrrls'. As the girls prepare for their concert at Blue Spruce Bar, they need to find a power source. Follow Autumn and Kat to the gate on the left side of the parking lot, which is secured by a padlock requiring a sequence of cardinal directions.

The solution is nearby. Go to Corey’s bike in front of the bar and check the bag. Inside, you'll find a Pager with a slip of paper under the clip. Flip the paper over to reveal a sequence of arrows, which is the code for the Blue Spruce Bar gate lock.

Return to the gate and input the sequence of arrows to unlock it, granting access to the bar's employee area. Here, you can find essential items like the Extension Cord, Power Outlet, and the Breaker Panel puzzle to restore power.
