In *Avowed*, treasure maps can be obtained through various means, such as purchasing them or discovering them while exploring the expansive world. The Painter’s Regret map, however, is exclusively found within the game's environment.

To locate the Painter’s Regret treasure map, head to Emerald Stair, the second major area you'll explore in *Avowed*. The map is situated inside a house on the northeast side of Coastal Farms. You'll spot a large house in front of a rock face. Be prepared, as you'll encounter numerous enemies guarding the entrance that you'll need to defeat before entering.

How To Get Into the Painter’s Regret House in Avowed

Getting inside the house isn't as straightforward as walking through the front door, which is barred shut. After clearing the enemies outside, navigate around the right side of the house to find a walkway leading to an accessible back door. Once inside, you'll find a large painting on an easel, which is actually the treasure map. Grab it, and you're set to hunt for the treasure in *Avowed*.

With the map in hand, head to the western side of the river southwest of Fior mes Iverno to find the treasure. Your reward for this quest is the Painter’s Brush, a unique trinket that boosts your critical hit chance by 5%, enhancing your combat effectiveness in the Living Lands.
