Nvidia Unveils RTX 50 Series GPUs with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation at CES 2025

Nvidia's CES 2025 keynote showcased the RTX 50 series GPUs, featuring groundbreaking DLSS 4 technology with Multi-Frame Generation, initially exclusive to the new lineup. This enhancement promises significant FPS boosts in 75 supported games, including highly anticipated titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Marvel Rivals.

The Blackwell architecture powering the RTX 50 series builds upon the Ada Lovelace architecture, significantly improving DLSS performance. Multi-Frame Generation, a key feature, delivers faster FPS increases compared to its predecessor. The flagship RTX 5090, boasting 32GB of GDDR7 memory, carries a starting MSRP of $1,999. Other models include the RTX 5080 ($999), RTX 5070 Ti ($749), and RTX 5070 ($549).

Nvidia highlighted the dramatic performance improvements enabled by DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation. In Cyberpunk 2077, for instance, the RTX 5090 achieved a remarkable 236 FPS with DLSS and Multi-Frame Generation enabled, compared to under 30 FPS with these features disabled and full ray tracing activated.
