NieR: Automata - Where To Get Dented Plates
NieR: Automata Resource Management: Farming Dented Plates
While some materials in NieR: Automata are plentiful, the sheer number needed for extensive weapon upgrades can quickly deplete even the most common resources. Dented Plates, a frequently required material, are no exception. This guide outlines efficient farming strategies to amass the quantities needed.
Optimal Farming Locations for Dented Plates:
Dented Plates are commonly dropped by:
- Small Biped (all variants)
- Small Flyer (all variants)
- Small Sphere (all variants)
These basic enemies are ubiquitous throughout the game. However, relying solely on random encounters and fast travel isn't the most efficient method.
The Adam Pit: The most effective location is the pit where you first encounter Adam during the main storyline.
- Fast travel to the Desert: Housing Complex access point.
- Proceed deeper into the ruins.
- Descend to the pit.
Here, enemies continuously respawn, with Small Bipeds being the most prevalent. Even lower-level enemies in this area have a decent drop rate for Dented Plates. This location is also advantageous for farming Titanium Alloy.
Forest Kingdom Alternative: If you prefer varied locations, the Forest Kingdom offers numerous groups of spear-wielding Bipeds. These groups generally drop at least one Dented Plate. Exploring the Forest Kingdom also provides opportunities to gather Beast Hide.
Level and Drop Rate Considerations: Higher-level Bipeds yield a greater chance of dropping Dented Plates. Progressing through the story increases your encounters with higher-level enemies, improving your farming efficiency.
Enhance Drop Rates: Equip drop-rate boosting plug-in chips to further maximize your yield. Remember to avoid death, as this will result in permanent chip loss.
