At the ID@Xbox Showcase event, the team behind Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault unveiled an exciting new trailer, giving fans a sneak peek into the much-anticipated sequel. The developers also announced that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, set to launch before the end of the year.

Digital Sun, in collaboration with publisher 11 bit studios, has crafted an isometric action-adventure RPG that incorporates roguelike elements. In Moonlighter 2, players are tasked with transforming their humble shop into a thriving business by exploring dungeons, collecting rare artifacts, and confronting formidable creatures.

Digital Sun emphasized that Moonlighter 2 builds upon the original game's core, offering more expansive narratives and refined gameplay mechanics. The story centers on Will, the protagonist, who embarks on a quest to find his home dimension within the vast world of Trense. Throughout his journey, Will reconnects with former allies and forms new friendships. His adventure leads him to encounter a mysterious trader who enlists him to seek out powerful relics, believed to be the key to returning home.

The game's enchanting soundtrack is composed by the renowned Chris Larkin, famous for his work on Hollow Knight. Fans can look forward to experiencing Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault later this year on PC (via Steam), Xbox Series, and PS5.
