Monster Hunter Now has just unveiled its exciting 2025 Spring Festival update, kicking off on April 14th and lasting until April 27th. This seasonal event brings a slew of fresh content to the game, including new gear and the introduction of an aggressive new monster.

Who’s the New Monster?

The new monster making its debut is none other than Ebony Odogaron. This isn't just a reskin; it's an enhanced, more formidable version of the original Odogaron, distinguished by the black smoke it emits from its mouth. You'll encounter Ebony Odogaron across various environments, from forests and deserts to swamps and tundra. Be prepared for a tougher battle as it boasts a fiercer demeanor and a broader roaming area. Alongside Ebony Odogaron, you'll also encounter familiar foes like Kulu-Ya-Ku during the Spring Festival 2025, all part of the event's exciting quests.

During the event, you can collect Spring and Rainbow Eggs by defeating monsters or participating in special Hunt-a-thons. These eggs can be traded at the Event Exchange Hub for some fantastic items.

The festivities escalate on April 18th with the introduction of Giant Egg Toys in Hunt-a-thons. Breaking these toys will yield a substantial amount of exchangeable Eggs. Throughout the event, limited-time quests will be available, offering exclusive rewards. Completing these quests can earn you a Spring Festival 2025 medal, a special Guild Card background, and Spring 2025 Armor and Weapon Tickets.
