Minion Rush Unveils Major Update: Endless Runner Mode Added
Gameloft has recently launched a substantial update for *Minion Rush: Running Game*, bringing both under-the-hood optimizations and exciting new features that enhance the gameplay experience. The update includes a shift to the Unity engine, which means players can now enjoy a visually upgraded game with sharper and cleaner graphics compared to its previous cartoony style. Alongside this, a new, more intuitive user interface has been introduced to improve navigation within the game.
One of the most eagerly awaited features is the new endless runner mode, accessible directly from the main menu. This mode allows players to test their endurance without the constraints of traditional levels. Additionally, individual abilities for Minions have been introduced, adding depth to the gameplay strategy.
Player personalization has been enhanced with the ability to customize profiles using nicknames, avatars, and frames. The new Costume Collection feature not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also unlocks special bonuses for players to enjoy. Another exciting addition is the Hall of Jam, where collecting bananas during runs fills a progress bar that, once full, unlocks a variety of rewards including story puzzle pieces, Minion stickers, G-Coins, gadgets, and costumes.
Gameloft has also introduced new power-ups such as the Disco-boot, Bouncer, Rocket Blade, and Minion Armor, along with new Gadgets that allow players to customize their strategy before each run, enhancing distance and performance. The update also revamps the visual elements of locations from earlier versions of the game, ensuring a fresh look for returning players.
Competitive elements have been bolstered with the inclusion of daily and weekly tournaments, where players can compete against others and earn rewards. To see all these exciting changes in action, check out the massive update trailer that Minion Rush has released:
