Microsoft Unveils Xbox Game Pass April 2025 Wave 1 Titles

Microsoft has unveiled an exciting lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles set to join the service in the first half of April 2025, featuring a robust selection of both first- and third-party games. This month's offerings, detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post, promise a thrilling start with the addition of several major titles.

The month kicks off on April 3 with the arrival of Gearbox Software's Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (available on Cloud, Console, and PC) across all tiers. Alongside it, All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X|S), and Wargroove 2 (Console) will be added to Game Pass Standard, providing a diverse range of gaming experiences.

Just five days later, on April 8, subscribers can look forward to South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S), a highly anticipated folklore adventure from Compulsion Games set in the Deep South. This title is expected to be one of Xbox's biggest releases of the year. On the same day, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC) will also become available for all Game Pass subscribers.

The following day, April 9, will see the addition of Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. This will be followed by Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) on April 10, also for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass tiers. Rounding out the first wave of releases on April 15, Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) will join the lineup for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

In addition to new games, Xbox Game Pass perks are set to receive a refresh in the first half of April 2025. Notable perks include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and an anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves fans.
