The latest Marvel Snap season, Legacy, is here, spotlighting Sam Wilson's ascension as the new Captain America. This update introduces exciting new mechanics and characters, reshaping the strategic landscape of the game.

Sam Wilson's card introduces a game-changing element: Cap's Shield. Appearing at a random location at the start of each match, this indestructible shield can be moved strategically across the board, boosting Sam's power by +2 whenever it resides in his location. This dynamic ability adds a new layer of depth and tactical decision-making to your matches.

This season expands the roster with several new characters throughout February. Joaquín Torres arrives February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on February 11th. Redwing joins the fray on the 18th, and Diamondback concludes the month's additions on February 25th. These Series 5 cards will be available via the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache, offering multiple avenues for acquisition.

ytTwo brand-new locations further enhance strategic possibilities. The Smithsonian Museum provides a +1 Power bonus per Ongoing ability card, while Madripoor boosts the highest-cost card at that location by +2 Power after each turn. These additions encourage experimentation with diverse deck building strategies.

Collectors will also appreciate the addition of new albums featuring avatars, emotes, and variants. The Viktor Farro album, dropping February 4th, offers rewards such as a Darkhawk variant and collector's tokens. The Lemon Fashion album arrives February 25th, boasting exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content.
