Marvel Rivals Unveils Stats, Top Heroes
Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Update Previews Hero Stats, Reveals Top Picks and Win Rates
NetEase has released performance data for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. The data reveals player preferences and win rates across Quick Play and Competitive modes on PC and console. The arrival of the Fantastic Four in Season 1, launching January 10th, is expected to significantly impact these statistics.
Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quick Play popularity, proving a fan favorite across both PC and console platforms. However, when it comes to win rates, Mantis takes the lead, boasting over 50% win rates in both Quick Play and Competitive modes (56% and 55% respectively). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
The "Hero Hot List" reveals the following top picks:
- Quick Play (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
- Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
- Competitive (PC): Luna Snow
In contrast, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quick Play and a dismal 0.69% in Competitive), largely due to criticism surrounding her damage output and gameplay. However, NetEase has announced balance changes for Season 1, including significant buffs for Storm, potentially altering her position in the meta. The upcoming season promises exciting changes and a shift in the competitive landscape.
