Marvel Rivals players are in for a thrilling crossover as the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 swings into the game as a fresh new skin. PlayStation shared the exciting news through a post on X/Twitter, giving fans a sneak peek at how NetEase Games has reimagined this iconic video game outfit for their hero shooter.

The Advanced Suit 2.0, first introduced in Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man, has become a fan favorite across all three entries in the series. Its standout feature is the striking white spider symbol, which now makes its mark in Marvel Rivals, marking an unexpected collaboration with Sony and its console-exclusive superhero title. Players can look forward to snagging this suit in the in-game store starting January 30, coinciding with the PC release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Since its launch in December, Marvel Rivals has offered a variety of unlockable suits, but the inclusion of the Advanced Suit 2.0 stands out due to its connection to the beloved PlayStation series. The suit will be donned by Spider-Man, voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, who has lent his voice to Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and also brings the character to life in Marvel Rivals. NetEase's choice to integrate Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 adds to the excitement following the launch of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which introduced new playable characters Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four.
