Marvel Contest of Champions brings Spider-Woman to the fray as the threat of the Eidol Champion Lumatrix looms

Following the epic Dark Phoenix saga, Kabam has unveiled an exciting new update for Marvel Contest of Champions, introducing Spider-Woman and the first Eidol Champion of 2025, Lumatrix. This update brings a fresh wave of quests, special events, and the latest chapter of Act 9.2, all packed with opportunities to earn valuable rewards.

Spider-Woman swings into action on April 17th, leveraging her spider-enhanced abilities and espionage skills to make an impact in The Contest. Lumatrix, on the other hand, dazzles players with their debut on April 9th. As a dangerous assassin crafted by The Founders, Lumatrix uses light manipulation to mask lethal attacks. To recruit Lumatrix, you'll need to gather Light Essence from Battlegrounds, Saga Incursions, and Raids during the event, which runs through June 4th.

The new Spy Games quest, running from March 9th to May 7th, features Black Widow teaming up with Spider-Woman to delve into the mysterious arrival of the Eidols. This espionage-filled adventure promises twists and turns as the duo uncovers the dark secrets behind Lumatrix's sinister light show.

Deadpool adds his unique flair with the Red & Dead's Discount Shed event, happening from April 25th to May 2nd. Thanks to Red Guardian's persuasion, Deadpool is ready to share a bounty of special rewards, including event currency, crystals, and bonuses. Following closely, the Heart of Fire Sale from May 7th to 14th offers a chance to snag valuable Champions and rewards through Heart of Fire crystals.

Later this month, don't miss the Thunderbolts Daily Super Event, running from April 18th through May 2nd. By hitting milestones, you can earn Poolshields, which are redeemable for rewards during the Red & Dead's Discount Shed event. Additionally, daily supply drops will be available from April 25th to May 23rd, ensuring more free rewards for regular logins.
