Magic: The Gathering, a globally popular trading card game launched by Wizards of the Coast in 1993, has a rich history. Its acquisition by Hasbro in 1999 solidified the brand's position within the entertainment giant's portfolio.

This isn't Hasbro's first foray into film adaptations. Their extensive catalog includes successful movie franchises based on G.I. Joe, Transformers, and Dungeons & Dragons.
