Today's reveal also highlights some of the set's special features, including Summons, which introduce Magic's first-ever Saga creatures that players can summon for assistance in battle (check out Summon: Shiva in the gallery). Additionally, the set brings back double-faced cards, exemplified by Cecil's dual sides: Dark Knight and Redeemed Paladin.
The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, with 55 of them featuring borderless designs, illustrated by fan-favorite artists from throughout Final Fantasy's storied history.
Set to be fully draftable and Standard-legal, the Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy set will launch on June 13, accompanied by four preconstructed Commander decks, each themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck will contain 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing cards featuring new Final Fantasy art.
