What are Luma Eggs?

Initially appearing as Mysterious Eggs, these collectible items are a key part of the Luma Island experience. Incubating them reveals Luma creatures, valuable assistants on your farm and adventures. Each egg holds a surprise; the type of Luma hatched is random, adding an element of excitement to the process.

Finding Luma Eggs:

Luma Eggs are hidden in two primary locations: the island's Ruins and behind Shrine offering doors. Each Ruin area contains one egg, as do the Shrines. The number of eggs available increases as you progress through the game's different biomes:

Ruin eggs are located deep within each Ruin complex, requiring thorough exploration. Shrine eggs are found within reward chests, accessible only after collecting the necessary Tepid Offering Crystals scattered throughout each area.

Hatching Luma Eggs:

To hatch your Luma Eggs, you'll need a Luma Incubator, purchased from Balthazar's shop for 500 coins. Crafting the incubator requires:

Combine Luma Life (crafted using various island essences) with a Mysterious Egg in the incubator to hatch your Luma. Unhatched Lum are shown as “Mysterious Creature,” and after a short wait, you'll meet your new companion! Remember to pet your Luma to strengthen your bond before it can assist you on the farm.
