Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Finding Pepik the Horse

After the opening moments of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you'll have the freedom to explore and tackle side quests. One such quest involves finding Vostatek's missing horse, Pepik, a task rewarding you handsomely upon completion.

Begin by accepting the side quest "Lackey" from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's house west of Tachov. You can also speak to Vitek initially; Zlata will direct you to him anyway. Vitek is located slightly southeast of the house (marked 'B' on the map above). This quest leads you north, where you'll find Vostatek under attack by wolves.

Finding Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

After rescuing Vostatek, help him to his campsite where he tethered Pepik. Follow his directions; be mindful of your stamina, as dropping Vostatek will cause a setback. Once at the campsite, you'll discover Pepik is gone. Follow the trail of clues, carefully examining each one as prompted, until you reach a poacher's camp.

Pepik has been captured by poachers. He's located at the back of their camp. The poachers move around, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups. Eliminating the poachers near the camp's edge is easier; some may even surrender. Alternatively, you can bypass the tougher poachers within the camp, riding Pepik away to safety.

Return Pepik to Vostatek's campsite. You can choose to ride with Vostatek back to his home (a fast travel option). Your reward: Groschen and a place to stay whenever you need it.

With Pepik safely returned, continue your adventures in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, pursuing other quests, romance, or upgrading your equipment with your newly acquired funds.
