Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 developers showed what the main character will be able to do
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: A Closer Look at Village Life and Recent Controversy
Warhorse Studios continues to unveil aspects of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, focusing this time on the diverse village activities available to players. The protagonist, Henry, will engage in a range of activities, from simple tasks like herding sheep and drinking, to more complex interactions such as hunting, using ranged weapons (crossbow and bow), praying, and assisting villagers with their problems – even finding antidotes for the injured.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is slated for release on February 4, 2025.
However, the game has recently faced unexpected controversy. Following the discovery of subpoenas within the game, activists launched a campaign to cancel its release. Figures like Grummz and other self-described "agenda-driven" campaigners have amplified this effort.
These efforts gained traction after news of a Saudi Arabian ban on Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 spread online, fueling speculation about "progressive" content within the game. This led to online attacks against the developers and calls to boycott the game and its funding.
In response to these accusations, Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, urged the public to trust the developers and to disregard unsubstantiated online claims.
