Here’s a detailed guide on how to start the quest, make choices, and ultimately stop the feud.

How to Start Battle of Frogs and Mice in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

To initiate the Battle of the Frogs and Mice side quest, you must first complete either the Mice or Frogs quests for Prochek and Olbram. Completing either quest will unlock this new challenge. To begin, simply speak with Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov. Once you've started the quest, make your way to the designated pasture to proceed.

Should You Side With Prochek or Olbram?

As Henry, you'll once again face the decision of choosing between Prochek and Olbram. However, there's a way to end the feud altogether, which we'll cover shortly. To side with Prochek, converse with him in Tachov and say, "Let’s get those Zhelejovites!" To support Olbram, talk to him in Zhelejov and say, "Let’s go and see those Tachovites!"

During their meeting at the pasture, avoid trying to reconcile them directly, as this might trigger the fight prematurely. Instead, if you successfully pass a dialogue check during the negotiations, an enemy will flee, making the subsequent battle more manageable. Winning the fight on either side will reward you with groschen.

How to Stop the Feud

For a more peaceful resolution, you can end the feud by following these steps. Before heading to the pasture, ask Prochek or Olbram if they're willing to end the feud. Then, travel to Troskowitz to meet Baliff Thrush and select the dialogue option, "You’d finally have some peace."

Successfully passing the dialogue check will allow you to access the Troskowitz Chronicle in the scribe’s room. If persuasion fails, consider sneaking in, but don't forget to save your game first. When speaking with the scribe, choose the dialogue option, "Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei."

Next, head to the pasture and locate three oak trees standing side by side. Inspect the middle tree to find a nail. Your options are:

• Leaving it in the middle tree will divide the pasture equally between Tachov and Zhelejov.
• Moving it to the west tree will allocate more land to Tachov.
• Moving it to the east tree will allocate more land to Zhelejov.

The choice here doesn't significantly impact the outcome, so feel free to pick the option that aligns with your preference or remain neutral. After deciding, speak with Baliff Thrush again to finalize the agreement to end the feud. Then, bring Prochek or Olbram to the pasture to confirm the resolution.
