Stellar Blade's Festive Holiday Update: A Cozy Christmas in Xion

Stellar Blade is spreading holiday cheer with a festive update arriving on December 17th! This update includes new Christmas-themed costumes, decorations, a mini-game, and a new option to control seasonal content.

New Holiday Outfits and Decorations

Get into the holiday spirit with brand-new Christmas-themed attire for Eve and other characters! The update features:

• Santa Dress (Eve): A festive outfit for the protagonist.
• Rudolph Pack (Drone): A charming holiday look for Eve's drone companion.
• I'm No Santa (Adam): A unique holiday outfit for Adam.

Complement Eve's new look with a Santa Girl hairstyle and accessories like Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.

Xion gets a festive makeover, too! The Last Gulp and Eve's camp will be decked out in warm lights and holiday colors, complete with new seasonal background music ("Dawn (Winter)" and "Take me away") to create a relaxing atmosphere.

A New Mini-Game Awaits

The update introduces a fun new mini-game in Xion. While details are scarce, it appears to involve shooting targets on a holiday-themed drone for special rewards.

Control Your Seasonal Content

A new option lets players manage seasonal content, including the Nier:Automata DLC. Go to the game's Settings > Gameplay > Seasonal Event Content and choose from:

• Auto: Automatically enables or disables seasonal content based on the season.
• Disable: Deactivates seasonal content regardless of the season.
• Enable: Activates seasonal content regardless of the season.

Note: Changing this setting requires restarting the game from the most recent save.

Mixed Reception

While many fans are excited about the update, some have expressed concerns. The relatively short playtime of Stellar Blade (around 30 hours) means players need to restart to fully experience the seasonal content after completing the main story. This has led to some debate about the frequency of event updates in a single-player game.
