Hearthstone Season 10: Trinkets Return to Battlegrounds!
Hearthstone enthusiasts, get ready for a thrilling update! Battlegrounds Season 10, dubbed "Second Nature," is set to launch on April 29th, 2025, bringing a wave of exciting changes and fresh content to the game. As Season 9 wraps up, Season 10 kicks off on the same day with a complete reset of ratings and a refreshed Track. Any unclaimed rewards from Season 9 will be automatically collected for you, so you won't miss out on any goodies.
The excitement builds as Blizzard staggers the reveals across several days. On April 18th, get a sneak peek at the Dragons, Demons, and Mechs that will be joining the fray. April 21st introduces the Undead and Pirates, followed by Naga and Quilboar on April 22nd, and wrapping up with Murlocs and Beasts on April 23rd. This staggered reveal schedule keeps the anticipation high and gives you a chance to see what's coming.
When Season 10 goes live, Anomalies will be completely removed from the Tavern, streamlining gameplay. Additionally, turn lengths are being extended, giving you more time to strategize and make your moves effectively.
Trinkets, those beloved passive power-ups, are making a grand return but with a twist. They're now obtainable with Gold and will appear twice per game: once on turn 6 as Lesser Trinkets and again on turn 9 as Greater Trinkets. Season 10 also enhances your chances of getting Trinkets that align with your current minion type. Blizzard is set to introduce over 100 new Trinkets alongside more than 100 returning ones, offering a vast array of options to enhance your gameplay.
Introducing two new heroes to the mix, Forest Lord Cenarius and Buttons, adds even more excitement to Season 10. Cenarius brings his classic Druid flair, focusing on ramping up Gold and setting the stage for powerful late-game strategies.
The minion pool is also getting a massive refresh, with over 75 new and returning minions and Tavern spells being added. This refresh ensures that every game feels fresh and engaging. And don't forget, the Battlegrounds Track is resetting too, so there's plenty of new content to explore and enjoy.
