HBO Exec Predicts 4 Seasons for The Last of Us
HBO's critically acclaimed series, The Last of Us, is set to captivate audiences for possibly four seasons, according to executive Francesca Orsi. While no final decisions have been made, Orsi hinted to Deadline that the show could run for "this season and then two more seasons after this, and we're done." This would extend the narrative beyond the immediate storyline of the games, offering fans more depth and exploration of the post-apocalyptic world.
As viewers eagerly await the return of the series in April 2025, Orsi teased some exciting developments. "There's certain elements in terms of the various factions that are competing for survival that reveal themselves as a really intriguing survivalist group," she explained. This group will be distinct in their portrayal, with unique wardrobe and makeup that sets them apart from the average survivor in the show.
