"Guide to Earning the 'I Caught a Shooting Star' Trophy in Monster Hunter Wilds"

In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, while the thrill of the hunt often centers on taking down the largest and most formidable beasts, there's a unique achievement that celebrates the smallest of creatures. Unlocking the 'I Caught a Shooting Star' trophy/achievement involves capturing the elusive Sandstar, a small desert mouse with glimmering fur, found exclusively in the Windward Plains at night.

To begin your quest, you must first ensure it's nighttime in the Windward Plains. You can achieve this through two methods:

• Fast Travel - Available early in the game once you unlock different fast travel points in the Windward Plains. Use your interactive map to fast travel between points until nightfall.
• Rest - After completing Chapter 3 and unlocking high-rank content, you can rest at a base or pop-up camp. Use your Guild Points to select nighttime and the desired environmental conditions.

Once it's dark, head to the area between Area 11 and Area 13 in the Windward Plains. Here, you'll find the Sandstar. This creature is swift, so to increase your chances of capturing it, gather Screamer Pods from Baunos, small red-winged scavengers found around these areas. The Screamer Pods will help you stun the Sandstar.

When you spot the Sandstar, chase it at full speed on your Seikret. Use a Screamer Pod to stun it when you get close, then quickly switch to your Capture Net (used also for fishing) and throw it at the Sandstar to capture it. Successfully capturing the Sandstar will unlock the 'I Caught a Shooting Star' trophy/achievement and reward you with the Ribbon Dream: Amber nameplate for your Hunter Profile.
