Some quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* require you to reach Kuttenberg before you can start them. Once you're there, you can freely travel between regions and dive into new adventures. Here’s a detailed guide on how to complete the “Under the Straw Hat” quest.

How to Unlock ‘Under the Straw Hat’ in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To unlock "Under the Straw Hat," you first need to initiate the "In Vino Veritas" side quest, which you can start in Kuttenberg. Upon arrival, head to the west side of the city where Casper Rudolf is offering free wine samples. He needs your help to gather information to enhance his wine.

You have two paths to follow. You can directly approach Havel and impress him with your wine knowledge, or you can retrieve Casper's book from Adleta to gain more wine insights. If you choose to speak with Havel immediately, make sure you're dressed in fancy clothes and are clean. During your conversation with Havel, select "Germany," "Steinberger," and "It’s missing ginger" as your answers. This is the key to obtaining the information Casper needs. Once you have it, return to Casper and share your findings.

Access the Vineyard

Casper then asks you to infiltrate the vineyard north of Kuttenberg to learn more about the incense Havel mentioned. Trespassing in the fields is risky, so stick to the main road and speak with the recruiter at the vineyard entrance. This conversation will trigger the "Under the Straw Hat" quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Continue along the road past the guard and find Jerome sitting on a bench.

When you approach Jerome, tell him you've been sent to report there. He'll provide you with details about working at the vineyard.

Working at the Vineyard

Your vineyard job starts the next day, so rest at the inn and return in the morning. To earn wages, you'll need to move sacks to their designated spots and pick Thistle plants around the vines. Alternatively, you can skip these tasks and head straight for the secret incense.

The incense is located in the wine cellar, accessible from the main building where you met Jerome. Be cautious, as this area is off-limits even to workers, and getting caught can lead to punishment. To enter the cellar, you'll need either a lockpick or the keys you can steal from Jerome.

In the cellar, find a chest and take all the Sulphur Wicks inside to fulfill the main objective. For an additional reward, you can also collect seedlings for Casper. From the main building's entrance, go straight across to find the seedlings. Remember, this is another restricted area, so act quickly to gather five seedlings and leave.

If you decide to complete your work duties, report to Jerome at the end of the day to collect your pay. Otherwise, return to Casper with the Sulphur Wicks and, if you managed to get them, the seedlings.

By following these steps, you will successfully complete both "Under the Straw Hat" and "In Vino Veritas" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From there, you can explore other side quests such as "Master Schindel’s Toys."
