GOG Resurrects Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 on PC
GOG resurrects the cult classic survival horror games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, bringing them to PC in DRM-free releases. Both PlayStation titles are now available via GOG's Preservation Program, ensuring the original content remains untouched.
Released in 1999 and 2000 respectively, these games represent a nostalgic piece of gaming history. While Dino Crisis 3 debuted on the original Xbox, a new entry or HD remake remains elusive despite fan demand. Capcom's 2022 release of Exoprimal and statements from creator Shinji Mikami seemingly closed the door on a Dino Crisis revival.
GOG's release is a boon for fans, as these PC ports were previously difficult to acquire and run on modern systems. GOG highlights the preservation efforts, stating that Regina's famous line, "You're extinct!", no longer applies to the games themselves. Enhanced for modern systems, these releases boast numerous improvements while retaining the original content.
