Gigantamax Kingler Makes its Pokémon GO Debut on Max Battle Day, February 1st

Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! Gigantamax Kingler is arriving on February 1st, 2025, as part of a special Max Battle Day event. This event marks the first appearance of this powerful Water-type Pokémon in six-star Max Battles, offering a chance to encounter a shiny version.

This highly anticipated addition expands the roster of Gigantamax Pokémon currently available in Pokémon GO. Gigantamax forms, a powerful evolution of Dynamaxing, not only boost a Pokémon's size and strength but also alter its appearance and unlock unique G-Max Moves.

Max Battle Day Event Details:

• Date & Time: Saturday, February 1st, 2025, 2 pm to 5 pm local time.
• Featured Pokémon: Gigantamax Kingler (six-star Max Battles). Shiny encounters possible!
• Strategic Advantage: Utilize Max Mushrooms to temporarily amplify the damage output of your Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon during Max Battles.

Event Bonuses:

• Increased Max Particle Collection: The maximum number of Max Particles collectible increases to 1600 during the event.
• Power Spot Enhancements: All Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles, refreshing more frequently and yielding 8x more particles.
• Bonus XP: Earn extra experience points!

Extended Bonuses (1 pm to 5 pm local time):

• Double Max Particles: Collect twice the usual number of Max Particles while exploring.
• Reduced Adventure Distance: Travel only a quarter of the normal distance to earn Max Particles.
