Genshin Impact 5.7 Coming Soon Featuring Skirk, Dahlia

HoYoverse announces the highly anticipated Genshin Impact Version 5.7, releasing June 18 under the title A Space and Time for You. This major update introduces new playable characters, story developments, a fresh combat mode, and a strategic mini-game created by Sumeru Akademiya scholars.

Skirk Makes Her Grand Entrance in Version 5.7!

The mysterious Abyss-aligned warrior Skirk finally becomes playable - notably known as Childe's legendary mentor. Her unique combat style features dual fighting techniques and introduces the innovative Serpent's Subtlety mechanic.

Joining Skirk is Dahlia, a 4-star Hydro support character serving as Deacon of the Church of Favonius. The update's first banner phase showcases Skirk and Dahlia alongside Shenhe's rerun, while the second phase brings back the Pyro Archon Mavuika and Emilie.

Story Developments Advance the Narrative

The main storyline continues the Bedtime Story quest arc, as the Traveler's reunion with their sibling takes darker turns amid Abyss Order movements in Natlan. Tensions escalate as Mavuika's forces prepare for conflict, while Dainsleif mysteriously reappears in transformed state to aid the Traveler.

Sumeru Akademiya debuts a challenging simulated adventure event combining strategic choices with rogue-like elements. Participants assemble teams of Companion Pieces and choose exploration paths through either rainforest or desert biomes.

Version 5.7 introduces Stygian Onslaught - a permanent combat mode featuring three rotating bosses with six escalating difficulty levels. Exclusive rewards include Artifacts and the revolutionary Dust of Enlightenment, which allows substat rerolls for max-level Artifacts.

The update also brings Travelers' Tales: Gilded Chapter - an episodic series featuring lighthearted vignettes starring Thoma, Neuvillette, Dori and other popular characters across Teyvat's regions.
