Genshin Impact: How To Collect The Burning Firestones (The Flowing Primal Flame Quest)

How to Obtain the Four Burning Firestones in Genshin Impact

Burning Firestone #1

The first Burning Firestone is obtained automatically after the cutscene with Bona concludes. The Little One will collect it. Simply follow the Little One across the bridge (using the lift mechanism), interact with the Saurian, speak with Bona, and watch the subsequent cutscene.

Burning Firestone #2

The second Burning Firestone is on the northeastern island. To acquire it:

1. Rotate the right and left floating island mechanisms.
2. Cross the extended bridge to the east.
3. Raise the lift.
4. Follow the Little One to the Firestone.
5. Collect a Common chest along the way.
6. Activate the mechanism to the right of the Firestone, climb the platforms, defeat the enemy, and collect an Exquisite chest.
7. Use the mechanism behind the chest to open the gate.
8. Descend to the Saurian, unlock the door, and tell the Little One, "Let's return to the altar!"
9. Return to the Altar of Primal of Flame.

Burning Firestone #3

To obtain the third Burning Firestone:

1. Rotate the right and northern floating island mechanisms.
2. Cross the bridge to the lower level of the northern island.
3. Follow the Little One. Observe the Secret Source Sentinel carry the Firestone to the southwestern island.
4. Proceed to the northwestern edge, ride a Qucusaurus, and fly to the Pyroculus.
5. Activate the tower mechanism, transform into a Qucusaurus again, and fly to the unlocked door.
6. Use the elevator to return to the upper level.
7. Interact with the Saurian, follow it, activate the lift, and return to the Altar of Primal of Flame.

Burning Firestone #4

The final Burning Firestone is on the upper level of the northwestern island:

1. Cross the northwestern bridge, asking Bona to adjust it.
2. Glide to the upper level of the northern island.
3. Lower the lift and follow the Little One.
4. Instruct the Little One to return to the altar.
5. Defeat the enemies.
6. Ask the Saurian to return to the altar and collect a Precious chest.
7. Go to the Altar of Primal of Flame.

Offering all four Firestones to the Altar completes The Flowing Primal Flame Quest, transforming the Jade of Return into a Golden Entreaty. A cutscene ensues, introducing the Dragon of the City of Flowing Ash. Follow the Taunted One to the Nursery of Nightmares to finish The Other Side of the Sky Quest and receive 50 Primogems.
