New Game Announced by Streets of Rage 4 Developers

Publisher Dotemu, in collaboration with studios Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, has announced the upcoming release of Absolum, an exciting fantasy beat 'em up infused with roguelite mechanics. Set in the enchanting yet ravaged world of Talamh, the narrative unfolds in the aftermath of a devastating magical cataclysm. The populace lives in fear of magic, a fear expertly manipulated by the tyrannical King-Sun Azra. With the aid of his Crimson Order, Azra enslaves mages, but a courageous band of heroes emerges to challenge his reign. This valiant group includes the necromancer Galandra, the defiant gnome Karl, the powerful mage Brom, and the enigmatic Sidr.

Players diving into Absolum will experience adrenaline-pumping action, featuring upgradable abilities, potent combos, and awe-inspiring magical spells. The game accommodates both solo adventurers and cooperative play, allowing players to collaborate on attacks and synchronize their strikes for devastating effects.
