One of the standout features is the ability to teleport across the map using Void Oni Masks, making the acquisition of high-rarity weapons more accessible than ever.

Weapon Expertise Quests are now a thrilling part of Fortnite Hunters, offering XP rewards for each completed stage. Moreover, completing these quests unlocks access to Legendary weapons sold by NPCs scattered across the map. Here’s a comprehensive guide on Weapon Expertise Quests in Fortnite and how to conquer them.

Updated January 14, 2025, by Nathan Round: Fortnite Hunters continues to evolve with each update, introducing new Expertise Quests for players to explore. This guide has been updated to include the Melee Expertise Quests added in the latest update, enabling players to purchase the Typhoon Blade from Kendo upon completion.

Weapon Expertise Quests Explained

Weapon Expertise Quests are a unique feature in Fortnite Hunters, intricately linked to specific NPCs on the map. Players are introduced to these quests through their initial interaction with Hope, Ruji, or Agent Jones, who provide insights into Expertise and weapon sales.

Each Weapon Expertise Quest comprises a series of challenges divided into five stages. Upon completion, players can unlock one of three Legendary weapons sold by Hope, Ruji, or Vengeance Jones. Subsequent quests have also been introduced, allowing players to purchase both Oni Masks from Daigo—granting quick access to the Void and Fire Oni Masks—and the Typhoon Blade from Kendo. These quests can be tracked in the main lobby or in-game by navigating to the Quests Tab and selecting Expertise Quests.

Weapon Expertise Quests can be completed passively, but they will take some time to fulfill. However, the rewards for completing them are well worth the effort. For those still progressing through each Weapon Expertise Quest, here are all the Expertise Rewards available for purchase:
