Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Launches Feb 21 with Mortal Kombat Crossover

Epic Games has officially unveiled the exciting new Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's upcoming season, titled "Wanted." This season, launching on February 21, dives into a thrilling heist theme, complete with gun-toting villains, gold-filled vans, and explosive bank vaults—everything you'd expect from a high-stakes robbery.

In a unique twist, this season will feature a collaboration with the legendary fighting franchise Mortal Kombat. The iconic character Sub-Zero will be part of the Battle Pass, seamlessly integrating with the heist theme through the skins available. This partnership coincides with the promotion of the upcoming film, Mortal Kombat 2, which stars Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Adeline Rudolph as Kitana.

Players can purchase these new skins using V-Bucks, Fortnite's premium currency, with each character priced at 1,500 V-Bucks, maintaining the standard pricing.

Confirmed to return are fan-favorite items like the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons are yet to be confirmed, speculation is rife about the potential return of the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, Tommy Gun, and the Grappler, echoing the excitement from the previous heist-themed season, Chapter 4 Season 4.

A much-anticipated new feature, Smart Building, will be introduced, enhancing gameplay by predicting the structures you need based on your aim direction.

Adding to the heist theme, a revamped gameplay mechanic will replace keycards with vault breaches. Players will now use Meltanite, Fortnite's version of thermite, to break into vaults and secure their rewards, promising an intense and engaging experience.
