Flexispot C7 Review (without footrest) by Bill Loguidice
The FlexiSpot C7 is a reliable chair, but at its price point, I would have appreciated a more premium-feeling material, such as leather or a leather-like fabric, instead of the current fabric. Additionally, the cushioning could use some improvement, and the inability to lock the wrist rests in place is mildly frustrating. However, if you value adjustability and don't mind its minor quirks, the C7 is a solid choice. Its understated design ensures it fits well in any office setting, though those seeking a more luxurious or eye-catching chair might want to look elsewhere.
Flexispot E5 Desk starting at $199.99
For Base Only, Tops Starting at $80
Flexispot E5 Electric Standing Desk
$379.99 save 47% $199.99 at Flexispot
In my opinion, the Flexispot E5 desk offers the best value among electric standing desks while still providing all the premium features you might want. Currently priced at $199.99 (down from $379.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80, it's a steal. The E5 is the most affordable model featuring dual motors, which are preferred over single motors because they support more weight (up to 287 pounds) and last longer due to evenly distributed stress. The desk's double crossbeam structure ensures the surface is evenly supported, preventing any sagging. The steel legs feature a 3-stage column, which is superior to the 2-stage columns found in similar-priced desks, offering a wider vertical range (23.6" to 49.2"). The desk also includes an essential anti-collision feature that stops the desk if it detects an obstruction. The keypad controls have three memory presets and a timer to remind you to switch between sitting and standing. The E5 comes with a robust 10-year warranty covering all metal, mechanical, and electrical parts, including the motor.

The E7 is currently priced at $299.99 (down from $499.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80. For an additional $140, the Flexispot E7 offers enhanced build quality, a higher weight threshold of 355 pounds, more included accessories, and a longer warranty. Aesthetically, the legs feature laser-welded seams and a powder-coated finish with no visible holes, giving a more professional look. The advanced keypad now includes an LCD display, more memory presets, a built-in USB charger, and a child-lock function, essential for households with young children. Additionally, a built-in cable tray under the desk helps manage your wiring. The E7 comes with an extended 15-year warranty on all metal, mechanical, and electrical parts, including the motor.

Flexispot E7 Pro Electric Standing Desk
$599.99 save 30% $419.99 at Flexispot
The E7 Pro is Flexispot's premier standing desk. Though recently released, it's still discounted to $419.99 (originally $599.99) for the base only, with desktop surfaces starting at $80. The E7 Pro boasts the highest build quality among the models listed, supporting a substantial 440-pound weight capacity. Flexispot claims its motor is superior to standard dual motor setups, providing smoother and faster movement. It also includes more advanced cable management options than the E7. The E7 Pro comes with the same 15-year warranty as the E7 on all metal, mechanical, and electrical parts, including the motor. This makes it arguably the best standing desk deal available right now.
Flexispot E7 Pro Review by Billy Givens
"The FlexiSpot E7 Pro stands out with its simple yet effective keypad, quiet dual motors, near-perfect cable management, and excellent stability. Whether it's your first desk or an upgrade, it's hard to beat in this price range."
Consider getting a desk frame here and the desktop surface elsewhere
I currently own three standing desks. One came with a desktop, but for the other two, I sourced my own surfaces. For one, I chose a massive 74"x26" maple veneered countertop from Ikea for $199. For the other, I picked a 48"x25" solid wood countertop from Home Depot and finished it myself. You can't go wrong with either option, and there are many more available. The key takeaway is that these standing desk bases don't require the desktops sold by the manufacturer. If you want to customize with your own desktop, as long as it's within the weight limitations, go for it.
How does Flexispot compare to other brands?
From personal experience, I own a Jarvis Fully, a Vari Ergo, and a Flexispot E5. All three have been excellent desks with no issues over the past three years, which is the crucial point. However, the Flexispot E5 is significantly less expensive than the other two. It's hard to justify the price difference when the E5 offers similar performance and quality. For the price of a basic Jarvis Fully, you could get the top-tier Flexispot E7 Pro and still save money.
