Final Fantasy 14 Offers Returning Players Tons of Free Playtime

Final Fantasy XIV offers a Free Login Campaign! From January 9th to February 6th, 2025, eligible players with inactive accounts can enjoy four consecutive days of free gameplay.

This generous offer allows players to return to Eorzea and experience the latest content, including Patch 7.15's additions like the Hildibrand storyline revival and a new Custom Delivery client. The campaign follows Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida's New Year's message, hinting at upcoming Patches 7.2 and 7.3 in 2025 and offering a cryptic preview of Dawntrail's storyline progression.

The four-day free play period begins upon logging into the game launcher on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. Eligibility requires a purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account that's been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start. Accounts suspended for violating terms of service are excluded. Players can verify their eligibility via the Mog Station.

While enjoying the free period, players can participate in the Heavensturn event (ending January 16th) for exclusive rewards and anticipate Patch 7.16 (releasing January 21st), concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest side series. This Free Login Campaign provides a perfect opportunity to catch up before the arrival of Patch 7.2. The campaign's end date is February 6th, 2025, at 9:59 AM Eastern Time.
