February Community Day: Karrablast and Shelmet Join Pokémon GO

• Date & Time: Sunday, February 9th, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
• Increased Spawns: Karrablast and Shelmet will appear much more frequently in the wild. Shiny encounters are possible!
• Exclusive Moves: Evolve your Karrablast into Escavalier (learning Razor Shell) and your Shelmet into Accelgor (learning Energy Ball) during the event. Razor Shell boasts 35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 in Gyms and Raids. Energy Ball packs a 90-power punch in all battle types.

Special Research & Bonuses:

• Community Day Special Research: A ticketed Special Research story ($2 or equivalent) offers Karrablast and Shelmet encounters with a Dual Destiny-themed background, plus extra encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL.
• Timed Research: A free Timed Research quest is available for those logging in during the event, offering more chances to catch Karrablast and Shelmet, and increased Shiny odds.
