My Father Lied A Mesopotamia-themed Point and Click Title Launches in May
Unravel the mystery of your father's disappearance in "My Father Lied," a captivating point-and-click adventure game launching May 30th!
Ahmed Alameen, writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title: a narrative-driven puzzle game inspired by Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior, a mystery deepened by the recent revelation of a previously unknown sibling.
Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to bring his vision to life.
Gameplay revolves around classic point-and-click mechanics, guiding Huda through stunning, albeit uniquely rendered, environments. Solve intricate puzzles, piece together images, decipher codes, and more, all within a world reminiscent of Myst, Heaven's Vault, and the chilling tales of H.P. Lovecraft. Alameen's innovative approach, utilizing a blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery—even in the hand-crafted cutscenes—delivers high-quality visuals optimized for low-spec PCs.
"My Father Lied" will be available on May 30th for $10.99/€ on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. Add it to your Steam wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration is not yet available.
