The Fell Omen bosses of Elden Ring have become legendary, and it's thrilling to see FromSoftware expand their presence in Elden Ring Nightreign, bringing their notorious jump-scare invasions to the Lands Between.

Morgott, a fan-favorite boss from the original Elden Ring campaign, is back with a vengeance in Nightreign. Known for his surprise phantom appearances in Elden Ring, Morgott's legacy continues as an unnamed Fell Omen, an enhanced version of himself, capable of startling players at any moment. This feature not only aligns with his original game mechanic but also introduces new voice lines and moves, making him an even more formidable foe. It's only fair that if players can team up, Morgott gets a chance to up his game too!

Beyond his invasion capabilities, the Fell Omen can also serve as an end-of-night boss, making him a significant challenge as the sun sets during the Elden Ring Nightreign tests.

During the recent Elden Ring Nightreign sessions, many testers, including the renowned Let Me Solo Her, encountered Morgott/Margit/Fell Omen. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with players lauding Morgott's invasion mechanic as a standout feature. Discussions on the Elden Ring Nightreign subreddit highlight various invasion locations, from elevators to towers, adding both tension and humor to the gameplay experience.

The success of Morgott's invasions has sparked excitement about the potential for other iconic enemies to make surprise appearances. The Pursuer from Dark Souls 2 is a prime candidate, and many fans would welcome the chance to see Hunters from Bloodborne, although that seems like a distant dream.

There may be even more to the Fell Omen's invasions than meets the eye. GamesRadar reported an instance where the Omen not only defeated a co-op partner but also left a curse mark on the fallen player, hinting at deeper mechanics that could be explored further.

Despite server issues during the first network test, a significant number of players still managed to dive into the Lands Between over the weekend. As we eagerly await the full release on May 30, keep an eye out for our detailed hands-on impressions with Elden Ring Nightreign.
