Netflix is developing a live-action Dungeons & Dragons series based on the Forgotten Realms setting, according to Deadline. The project, one of Netflix's largest fantasy investments, will be helmed by Shawn Levy (Deadpool, Wolverine), with Drew Crevello (WeCrashed) as writer and showrunner. The series' success could potentially launch a broader D&D universe on the platform. While negotiations were lengthy, the project is now in development.
