The highly anticipated survival MMO, Dune: Awakening, launches May 20th, 2025 on PC (Steam), with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions to follow. But your journey begins now! Funcom has opened character creation and a benchmark mode.

The detailed character creator lets you define every aspect of your appearance, choose your home planet, caste, and mentor/class. This character will carry over to the full game. Early creators receive an exclusive Frameblade knife skin, redeemable at launch via code.

A benchmark tool tests your PC's performance, optimizing graphics settings. The benchmark features a player base, Harko Village (the Harkonnen hub), and a sandworm encounter.

The game will cost $49.99 USD, with pre-orders on Steam soon including the Terrarium of Muad’Dib in-game decoration.
