Torchlight: Infinite’s eighth season, Sandlord, has officially launched, marking the game's most expansive season to date. This season introduces a host of new features that transform the gameplay, inviting players to construct a floating empire in the sky.

What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?

The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city under your control. Players will gather resources from the Netherrealm and convert them into tangible benefits by managing workers across five different professions. This system not only unlocks new trade routes and bonuses but also offers seasonal rewards, blending ARPG combat with strategic simulation elements.

Thea, previously known as the divine channeler, has undergone a transformation into the Blasphemer. Her new role involves spreading desecration rather than blessings, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.

The Deep Space region has been revamped, introducing five new stages brimming with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item type called Probes has been added. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy their own slot, boosting both the rewards and the difficulty level.

The endgame experience is enhanced with the addition of new Legendary Stages. These rare encounters offer unique loot setups that can significantly alter your gameplay strategy.

Some zones deviate from the norm, like the Abyssal Vault, which is devoid of enemies but filled with Mystery Chests ripe for exploration. Conversely, the Sea of Rites challenges you with a non-hostile goblin swarm; defeating them can potentially summon a secret boss.

The Supreme Showdown introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic for both players and bosses. A well-timed hit can transform enemies directly into treasure.
